PAINTER

After reading Tom and Jack relnetcy I picked up a book by Poul Erik Tojner called Munch In HIs Own Words . His treatment and writing are amazing and expressive in the way of the painter. I really think Pollack in some ways reached that state of freedom so often discussed in art. The unconstrained passion in his work unequaled in my humble opinion. That's what I love about art and artists. The emotional connection one feels when an artists moves you. I don't think Pollack ever tried to be anything other than what he was. A fiery ball of barely controlled fury. A pure animal of art painting out his soul for all to see. Yet he's constantly reaching out to you, his fellow man, asking if you can (as he knows you must) see what he sees and feel what he feels.
