Growing up in Sri Lanka, we were lucky to enjoy fresh and delicious homecooked Sri Lankan meals and had the comfort of being close to our favourite street food dishes. As Passionate foodies, Sri Lankan food has been a huge part of our lives which we really missed when we settled in the UK. To get our fix for Sri Lankan food, we started cooking up all our favourites guided virtually with love by our wonderful moms. It was not long after that we developed our passion for getting inventive and creating new dishes that were thoroughly enjoyed by many family members, friends and even friends of friends who often asked for more!
